In general pediatrics, our patients range from newborns to adolescents and young adults. Our aim is to offer an individually adapted, holistic treatment for our patients. Since we are specialized for lung diseases and allergies, our focus is only on pulmonary or allergic diseases.
Dr. Mädel is trained to treat acute pediatric diseases and emergencies. A range of rapid tests (swab-testing) for RSV (rhinosyncitial virus), influenza (real flu) and Covid 19 can be performed directly at the private practice. We offer further laboratory examinations in collaboration with an external laboratory institute.
In addition, bacteriological or virological swabs can be taken and analyzed by an external laboratory partner (skin, nose/throat swabs for recurrent infections, as well as stool and urine examinations).
Advanced special examinations which cannot be offered at the private practice can be performed at the Pediatric Department at clinic Ottakring, (Dr. Mädel – senior consultant).
